Hey handsome, you got some fries to go with that shake?...Like those boots cowboy...Hey pretty, turn that frown upside down...

In this interactive video installation I am one of four improvisors cat-calling passing-by men. It's a fun little experiment, turning the sexual harassment tables on the guys. Sponsored by Digital Arts Entertainment Laboratory at Georgia State University and Flux Projects. From the grant:

"This installation uses four video screens — displaying two women and two men — to observe the passing crowd and catcall the men, thus reversing the typically male behavior. As an exercise in empathy training, audiences are put on the receiving end of playfully staged inappropriate behavior such as teasing and cat calling. The seriousness of the subject matter is masked by the humor that the situation is intended to create. [It is] ...dedicated to raising awareness of unwanted and yet somehow socially permissible gender bias and harassment."
