This SAG feature film was shot in Atlanta in October & November of 2010. I played a boring orientation instructor: think Ben Stein in the Visine commercials. I loved it because the director let me improvise for minutes at a time during each take. I felt I scored pay dirt when they had to cut because the lead or the crew chuckled. Anyway, they filmed much more of my character that what was written in the screenplay so I'm really curious how much of my droll droning will wind up in the final cut.
Ivy League is a zany comedy, combining the candid raunchiness of Old School, with the light heartedness of Happy Gilmore.
Matthew Klein (Rob Gleeson) is a card-carrying wimp and painfully thin man who wears layers of clothing to inflate his appearance. He reaches the height of humiliation when he catches his gold-digging fiancée screwing a porn star named Pirate Jack. Dejected and degraded, he leaves Atlanta for New York, but finds himself again in a series of humiliating hijincks with his childhood misfit friends.
