A few miles outside a small Southern town, Raymond Brown (Troy Halverson) has returned to his family home for a funeral, estate settlement, and reproachmént with his twin sister Ruth. He had left town for a career in New York while she stayed a small-town girl, but both struggle to deal with their incestuous past and the secrets kept by a their (up-) tight family circle.

Through heated arguments, tender soul-searching moments, even a bit of romantic song and two-step on their front porch, the siblins end up living happily ever after, together, in love, in their childhood home on Honeysuckle Hill.

And the night shall be filled with music
And the cares, that infest the day,
Shall fold their tents,
And silently steal away.
